Full Description 

 The day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in central La Paz. As we travel toward the lake, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Royal Range of the Andes. Our first major stop is the Tiquina Strait, where we cross the water on a traditional barge. Upon arrival in Copacabana, you'll have time to explore the vibrant local market and the stunning 16th-century Basilica.

In the afternoon, we board a speedboat for a 1.5-hour journey to the southern part of Isla del Sol. Here, the history of the Incas comes to life as you hike through terraced gardens and visit the Pilkokaina Sun Temple. Your expert bilingual guide will share legends of the island’s sacred past before we descend the 200 steps of the Escalera del Inca. The tour concludes with a return boat trip and a comfortable bus ride back to La Paz, arriving late in the evening.
