Your adventure begins with hotel pickup in San José aboard a comfortable air-conditioned van. As you drive through Costa Rica’s central valley, the scenery shifts to rolling hills, coffee plantations, and cloud forest. Upon arriving at La Paz Waterfall Gardens, you’ll explore winding trails shaded by lush rainforest. Along the way, you will come across five stunning waterfalls, each with its own viewing point.
You will also walk through curated gardens: a hummingbird sanctuary, a butterfly observatory, and an aviary where vibrant birds like toucans gather. In dedicated wildlife enclosures, you can observe jungle cats such as jaguars and ocelots, as well as sloths and monkeys. The park’s educational nature exhibits include a serpentarium, a frog house, and lush flowering plant displays.
