Your day begins with check-in in Uvita, followed by a scenic boat ride of approximately 90 minutes along the coast to the San Pedrillo station in Corcovado National Park. Once ashore you’ll meet your naturalist guide and embark on the first nature hike through dense rainforest trails, keeping an eye out for wildlife like monkeys, sloths and coatis. After working up an appetite, you’ll stop at the ranger station for a picnic-style lunch surrounded by jungle ambiance. Then you’ll continue with a second trail or shorter walk, often to a waterfall or an alternate viewpoint trail, depending on weather and conditions. Finally you’ll re-board your boat and return to Uvita in the afternoon, arriving with memories of rainforest, ocean, wildlife and adventure. The tour covers around 8 hours in total.
