The long but rewarding day begins with an early air-conditioned bus transfer from your Punta Cana hotel toward the coastal town of Las Cañitas or Sabana de la Mar. From there, you board a catamaran or motorboat to cross the beautiful Bay of Samaná.

If during the season (Jan-Mar): The boat will first head to the Humpback Whale Sanctuary where you spend time watching the whales breaching, swimming, and communicating in their temporary Caribbean home.

All year: The tour continues to the Samaná peninsula where you board a safari truck for a transfer into the mountains. Here, you'll meet your horses for the guided, approximately 40-minute horseback ride to the breathtaking El Limón Waterfall.
