Start the morning with a meeting point in Sabana de la Mar and head toward Los Haitises National Park. Your guide leads you on a rainforest trail (~30 minutes) where you’ll observe unique flora, birds and learn about the ecosystem. Then board a boat and kayak through the mangrove forest and along the scenic San Lorenzo Bay coast. Paddle to the Cave of the Line and see more than 1,200 pictographs made by the Taino people. Afterwards swim in the natural pools of Playita Las Almejas, relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Finish with a local Dominican-style lunch (rice & beans, fresh fish or local dish, fruits, soda and water). The tour wraps up back at the meeting point.
