The day begins early in Uvita, when you board a boat and head out across the Pacific. After roughly 90 minutes on water, you arrive at the San Pedrillo area of Corcovado National Park. Here, a guided hike takes you through lush rainforest: expect 2 to 3 hours on trail, covering some of the most visited paths. Along the way, you may encounter iconic wildlife like howler monkeys, tapirs, scarlet macaws, possibly even jaguars, plus a variety of reptiles and insects.
