Your day begins around 8:30 AM with pickup in the Zona Colonial area of Santo Domingo. The first stop is the imposing Faro a Colón, where the guide shares the story of Christopher Columbus and the monument’s heritage.
Next you head to the Los Tres Ojos cave system — an underground natural wonder where you’ll explore three crystal-clear lakes and then take a small boat ride to a hidden cenote. Afterwards, you visit a lesser-known local beach for a short rest and maybe a cliff-jump into clear water.
Finally you arrive at Boca Chica Beach for a leisurely two-hour stay: swim, relax, or optionally rent beach activities. A freshly-prepared fried fish lunch by the shore is served, immersing you in local flavour and coastal vibes. Around mid to late afternoon (≈ 5:00 PM, depending on traffic) you return to the Zona Colonial.
