Arrival in Sabana de la Mar – Meet Your Local Guide

In the coastal town of Sabana de la Mar, known for its fishing and agricultural traditions, you’ll meet your expert birdwatching guide. Born and raised near Los Haitises, your guide will introduce you to the region’s birds, history, and cultural heritage.

Morning Birding – Rainforest Trails

As the early sunlight filters through the canopy, you’ll explore one of the most pristine rainforests in the Dominican Republic. This is an excellent opportunity to spot endemic and migratory species such as:
