How is chocolate made from bean to bar? And how does real cacao taste? In this workshop, you’ll put your hands to work: grinding cacao, learning the full process, and making your own chocolate. While crafting, you'll also taste various cacao and chocolate samples, enhancing your understanding of flavor and texture.
After the workshop, visit the café to enjoy hot or cold chocolate made from the same cacao you just learned about. The cacao comes directly from plantations on Costa Rica’s Caribbean side. Their on-site restaurant offers a light lunch — crepes, sandwiches, or Caribbean chicken — giving you a taste of local flavor after your chocolate-making experience.
