Your adventure begins at the tour office in Uvita, where you’ll enjoy a welcome treat of coffee, juice, cookies, and water. After gathering the group, you’ll head toward Marino Ballena National Park to board your boat. The scenic ride to Caño Island takes about 1 to 1.5 hours and often includes sightings of dolphins or even whales during migration seasons.

Once you arrive at the island, your naturalist guide will provide a safety briefing and help you prepare your snorkeling gear. Life jackets are mandatory inside the reserve to protect both visitors and the reef ecosystem.

You’ll explore two stunning snorkeling spots around Caño Island, each offering colourful coral formations and abundant marine wildlife. Between sessions, you’ll take a break on a nearby beach to relax, swim, enjoy fruits and snacks, and soak in the natural beauty of the reserve.

After your underwater adventures, you’ll enjoy a picnic-style lunch before boarding the boat for your return to Uvita.
