Begin your day with hotel pickup in La Fortuna. Start by hiking ~3.5 km through rainforest paths and historic volcanic lava trails to reach a lookout with views of Arenal Lagoon and Arenal Volcano.

Next, head to La Fortuna Waterfall — 70 m high — where you can swim in the natural pool or simply admire the view.

Afterward, enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Then, explore the Mistico Hanging Bridges Park: walk a 3.1 km circuit featuring 16 bridges — 6 hanging and 10 stationary — high above the forest canopy. Along the way, your bilingual guide will point out native wildlife and diverse flora including monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds, frogs, and lizards.

Finally, return to La Fortuna with hotel drop-off. Total duration: ~9 hours.
