Your adventure begins around 5:20 AM at the public pier in Puerto Jiménez. After meeting your certified guide, you’ll set off by speedboat across the calm waters of the Golfo Dulce. Upon arriving at Sirena, you disembark directly onto the beach, sometimes with a short walk through shallow water.
Once inside the park, your guide leads you through trails filled with extraordinary biodiversity—the perfect setting to observe Central American tapirs, spider monkeys, howler monkeys, capuchins, squirrel monkeys, sloths, exotic birds, and unique rainforest plant life. Throughout the hike, your guide interprets the forest’s ecology, wildlife behavior, and the conservation importance of Corcovado.
Around midday, you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch at the ranger station. After lunch, you walk back to the beach for your return boat trip, arriving back in Puerto Jiménez at approximately 2:30 PM. This tour offers the full Sirena rainforest experience without the need to stay overnight.
