Spectacular Saona and fun party trip! Must do!

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Viñales Valley on a day trip from Varadero. Visit tobacco plantations, see the Mural of Prehistory, and enjoy panoramic valley views.
? Overview Escape the beach for a day and journey to the west of Cuba to discover the Viñales Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its iconic "mogotes"—limestone hills with rounded tops—and its deep red soil, this region is the heart of Cuba's tobacco culture. You will experience the lush, green landscapes that make this one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Caribbean.
✨ Highlights * Explore the world-famous tobacco plantations where Havana cigars are born.
Visit the massive Mural of Prehistory painted on a vertical rock face.
Stand at the Los Jazmines viewpoint for the best panoramic views of the valley.
Learn the artisanal secrets of hand-rolling the perfect Cuban cigar.
Discover the unique rural architecture and peaceful way of life in Pinar del Río.
? Full Description We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Varadero for a scenic drive across the island toward the Pinar del Río province. After arriving in the Viñales Valley, you will be surrounded by prehistoric landscapes and traditional farms. Our first major stop is a local tobacco plantation; here, you’ll walk through the fields and learn about the cultivation and drying process of the leaves that eventually become the world’s finest cigars. You’ll even witness a demonstration of the traditional rolling technique.
Next, we visit the Mural of Prehistory, an enormous 120-meter fresco painted on the side of a mogote representing the evolution of life in Cuba. You will have free time to explore the area and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. To wrap up the day, we stop at the "Balcony of Viñales"—the Los Jazmines viewpoint—to capture stunning photos of the entire valley floor before the drive back to Varadero. It is a long but rewarding day filled with history, nature, and authentic Cuban culture.
