Your day starts with pickup from your hotel in Punta Cana. You’ll travel by land through the scenic Eastern Plains towards the town/village of Las Cañitas. From there, you board a boat heading into the bay of Samaná, home to the region’s whale sanctuary.

Once at sea, you spend approximately 2.5 hours on the water, with the opportunity to spot humpback whales — adults and possibly calves — as they breach, surface, and serenade with their characteristic songs.

After the whale-watching session, the boat heads to Cayo Levantado. Here, you enjoy a buffet-style lunch of Dominican dishes, followed by free time to relax on the beach or swim in the turquoise Caribbean waters.
