Full Description ? Our journey begins in front of the iconic Hotel Casa Granda in Céspedes Park. After admiring the Cathedral of Santiago de Cuba, we’ll hop into a classic vintage car for a drive to the former Palace of Provincial Government. Next, we arrive at the legendary Moncada Barracks. It was here on July 26, 1953, that a young Fidel Castro led his first attack against the Batista regime. Although the assault failed, it birthed the "26th of July Movement" and set the stage for the revolution’s eventual triumph.
Inside the barracks, we’ll visit the 26th of July History Museum, where permanent exhibits bring the struggle to life. Following our museum exploration, we switch to a traditional horse-drawn carriage for a scenic ride to the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery. This sacred ground is the final resting place of Cuba’s most significant figures; we’ll visit the tomb of Fidel Castro and the monumental mausoleum of national hero José Martí. Our tour concludes with a final vintage car ride back to the heart of the city.
