? Full Description

Your adventure begins in Curubandé (just outside Liberia), where you’ll meet your guide and hop into a 4×4 vehicle for a short drive to the trailhead. From there, you’ll hike roughly 2 km through shady forest, crossing rivers along the way — ropes help you maintain balance in the water crossings. As you progress, you’ll climb ladders and navigate rock formations, then enter a canyon via a rope-assisted section to reach La Leona Waterfall. The waterfall is tucked into a narrow gorge, its waters glowing a remarkable turquoise-blue due to volcanic minerals. You'll have time to swim, relax in the pool, and soak up the scenery before hiking back along the same route.
