Your journey begins with a convenient hotel pickup in Panama City followed by a scenic drive to Gamboa. Here, you’ll board a high-speed boat to navigate the Gatun Lake. As you cruise alongside massive container ships, keep your eyes peeled for crocodiles and exotic birds. The boat will take you to the famous Monkey Islands, where curious primates often jump near (or even onto!) the boat to greet visitors.
After the boat safari, you will head to the Gamboa Rainforest Reserve. Inside the Sloth Sanctuary, you’ll observe rescued sloths and hear from expert guides about their rehabilitation. The tour continues with a walk through a vibrant Butterfly House filled with Blue Morpho butterflies, followed by a visit to the local frog and orchid exhibitions, showcasing the incredible biodiversity of the Panamanian jungle.
