? Full Description The day starts with an early morning pickup from Varadero for a scenic drive toward central Cuba. Our first destination is El Cubano Park, located within the Topes de Collantes nature reserve. Here, we embark on a light trek through the forest, learning about the local flora and fauna until we reach the spectacular Javira waterfall. You’ll have free time to swim in the cool, crystal-clear mountain waters before we break for a traditional Cuban lunch.
In the afternoon, we travel to Trinidad, one of the best-preserved colonial cities in the Caribbean. We’ll walk through the historic center, admiring the grand mansions and the red-tiled roofs that tell the story of the 19th-century sugar boom. After visiting the Plaza Mayor and the local artisan market, we stop at the Manaca Iznaga estate in the Valley of the Sugar Mills to see the famous watchtower. After a full day of culture and nature, we begin the journey back to Varadero, arriving late in the evening.
