Your snorkeling experience begins at Ensenada Yegua Beach in Fajardo, a protected marine area within the Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve. Upon arrival, your certified instructor will teach you the fundamentals — how to properly wear a mask, breathe through the snorkel, and float with ease.

Once you’re comfortable, you’ll enter the calm, turquoise water from the beach and start your guided snorkeling session. ? Swim over shallow coral reefs teeming with life — from bright parrotfish and angelfish to curious rays and tiny octopus hiding among the rocks.

The experience lasts about 1.5 hours, but you’re welcome to continue exploring on your own afterward since the equipment rental is valid until 4:30 pm. After your underwater adventure, relax by the beach and enjoy light snacks and refreshments provided by the team.
