Your adventure begins with pickup at 8:00 AM from your hotel in Las Terrenas. Travel to the Samaná port to board a comfortable speedboat across the bay toward Los Haitises National Park.
As you cruise through the mangroves, you’ll spot pelicans, frigate birds, and herons nesting in the trees. Enter mystical caves adorned with Taíno pictographs and learn about the park’s incredible biodiversity and history.
After exploring the park, continue to Cayo Levantado, also known as Bacardi Island, where you’ll enjoy a Dominican buffet lunch on the beach. Spend your afternoon swimming, relaxing under the palms, or sipping a tropical cocktail by the shore.
Around 3:30 PM, return by boat to Samaná and transfer back to Las Terrenas, arriving around 6:30 PM.
